Kia ora!
I’m Nicole Rush, an award-winning designer with 15+ years design experience creating impactful digital products across London, New Zealand, and Canada.
My expertise spans product design, design systems, mobile apps, and large-scale responsive websites, all grounded in a human-centered design approach. I specialise in crafting user-focused solutions that drive meaningful results and deliver beautifully executed digital experiences.
As a design lead, I’ve managed the end-to-end lifecycle of numerous high-impact projects within a range of industries, from finance and enterprise software to government services and marketing sectors. Taking ownership of research, prototyping, iteration, stakeholder feedback, and delivering pixel-perfect designs to developers.
I thrive on bridging the gap between vision and execution, delivering polished, accessible, and scalable designs that align with both business goals and user needs.
Collaboration and empathy are at the heart of my process, enabling me to transform complex challenges into elegant, functional solutions. Whether I’m leading workshops, conducting research, or refining designs, my goal remains the same: to create accessible, intuitive, and impactful digital experiences that resonate with users.
Currently based in Ontario, Canada, I work remotely with globally distributed teams.

Kia ora is a Māori phrase from Aotearoa (New Zealand) that means much more than just "hello". While it’s commonly used as a friendly greeting, its deeper meaning is about wishing someone life, health, and well-being—kind of like saying "be well" or "have a great day" all in one!
